Eating Healthy
Eating healthy right now during this national pandemic is so important. I always make sure I have fruits and vegetables on hand. If I don’t have fresh produce, I opt for frozen or canned. This was my healthy lunch yesterday – steamed asparagus with peppers, artichokes, avocado and beans. The veggies give you your much needed antioxidants to stay strong and keep immunity up. The beans are needed for muscle repair as they provide protein. The avocado is a healthy fat that you need for your brain and healthy absorption of nutrients. I followed this lunch up with a handful of almonds and an apple a few hours later. Don’t forget to practice proper meal spacing – eat every few hours to keep your blood sugar up and ward off feeling tired. STAY
